There was one thing I noticed: So this characters traits are actually, 'Romantic, sexually awkward, and clumsy.

Since the Sims is probably the most popular life simulator out there, you can imagine how many content creators exist online. And lots of them love anime.

Let’s see how we can combine a love of The Sims with Japanese anime/otaku culture.

20. Saimi Anime Eyes Series v2

So you want to give your Sims more of an anime look? What better place to start than with anime eyes.

Bubbly eyes are one of the most easily identifiable features of anime art styles, so this is no surprise.

There are a lot of anime eye options to choose from, some more realistic than others.

My personal favorite is the Saimi Anime Eyes series.

As the title suggests, this is already the second set of eight eye colors to choose from. Options include Pinklove, Ghostlywhite, and Mintgreen.

The first pack is also available which gives another eight color options, so you can give your Sims pretty much any look you can think of.

19. Little Ebisu Short Hair

The next thing you’ll want are some hair mods to achieve that basic anime look.

But not just regular hair mods: we want anime-style hair!

Modder PantuKinha has tons of options to choose from, but my favorite has to be the Little Ebisu Short Hair texture.

Based on Little Ebisu God from Noragami, this male hairstyle captures the most common look of young adults in anime.

The short pointy bangs that are parted towards one side will surely get you one step closer to achieving the anime look.

18. My Hero Academia Gym Uniform

If you’re looking for more of an overall change to match your favorite anime series, these next few mods might be right up your alley.

First up we have an outfit based on My Hero Academia.

For those unfamiliar (as if), My Hero Academia follows high school students in their path to become heroes.

One of the more recognizable and commonly seen cosplay outfits is their gym tracksuit.

The outfit comes for adult males, females, and even kids – so your whole family can enjoy training sessions as Izuku does in the series!

17. Fullmetal Alchemist Outfit

If Fullmetal Alchemist is more your thing then you’re gonna love this CC.

Any fan will instantly recognize the red coat worn by Edward Elric in the series. The outfit even comes complete with white gloves and the Flamel logo on the back.

Put this on and you’ll feel like you’re walking around Amestris in no time!

16. Yaiba Costume Set

Kimetsu no Yaiba, popularly known as Demon Slayer, is one of the more recent anime series to take the world by storm.

Having already been named one of the best anime of the 2010’s, as well as getting a Netflix release, we can’t get enough of our favorite demon slayers.

With the Yaiba Costume Set by McLayneSims, your sims can now be transformed into your favorite characters from the show as well.

The pack comes with four different costumes, including the outfits of Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Kanae, and even Hashira Giyu.

15. Dragon Ball Z Shirts

Of course, there are those of you who don’t want to totally replace their sims with anime characters…

For those who prefer not to become the shows, and instead want to be your usual selves (regular anime fans) – I’ve got a few accessories to express your love for anime. Well, in The Sims.

Where else to start but with a childhood favorite – Dragon Ball Z.

With the Dragon Ball Z Shirts set, you get a set of seven shirts with Son Goku along with your other favorite Dragon Ball characters.

The shirts are available for teens to adult, so mix and match to try on different outfits. You can even have a Dragon Ball shirt for every day of the week!

14. Death Note T-Shirts

Sims 4 Anime Traits Sims 4 Cc

For more modern anime fans –this Death Note CC set adds three new shirts based from the popular anime series.

Unfortunately, the set is only compatible for male characters as of now – but you can go ahead and dress your favorite male sims with these Death Note inspired additions to your wardrobe.

13. Little Ghibli Shirt

Any anime fan moms and dads out there?

Well who says your little toddlers have to miss out on the fun?

Start them early with this set of shirts inspired by popular anime films from Studio Ghibli.

The set includes five shirt designs for toddlers – including Totoro, the tree spirits from Princess Monokoke, no-face from Spirited Away, and even one of assorted Studio Ghibli characters.

12. Totoro Onesie

We’ve all seen the type of parents always looking for the cutest outfits for their toddlers.

Most of the time, they choose outfits based on their own interests. And usually end up amusing themselves at the child’s expense.

Hey we’re not here to judge – so why not dress your toddler as Totoro himself?

Thanks to modder Cafesimmer, you can get this little onesie and have your toddler walk around as Totoro.

I have to admit, this one’s pretty cute.

11. Dragonball Rug

For the more conservative fans, you might not want to wear your interests on your sleeves.

Well a great alternative is to decorate your homes with these anime-inspired CC packs.

First off we have a Dragon Ball rug.

No, it’s not a set.

Yes, it’s just one rug. What more do you want though?

It’s a circle rug with a Dragon Ball design. How cool is that? If these were available in real life I’d love to own one myself.

10. Pokémon Rugs

If DBZ wasn’t cool enough for you here are some more rug options to fill your houses with.

And who doesn’t love Pokémon, right? This CC set includes six circle rugs with classic Pokémon designs.

Choose one of the three original starting Pokémon, Pikachu, a Poke ball, or a Pokémon logo.

You can even have one for every door in your house, no one’s stopping you.

9. Pokémon Wallpaper

You could even take your love for Pokémon a step further with a more permanent fixture – Pokémon Wallpaper!

Whether you’re designing a kid’s room, or just really love Pokémon yourself – these wallpaper designs would add color and youth to any home.

40+ Traits Mod Sims 4

There are 15 different designs to choose from, each with different Pokémon characters and color palettes.

Anime

Go crazy and make each room of your house Pokémon themed, why not right?

8. Sailor Moon Posters Set

Based on the 90’s classic, this Sailor Moon poster set includes a large number of decorative options with featuring your favorite Sailor Moon characters.

Traits

Sailor Moon CC to the rescue!

There are three sets with a total of 16 different swatches to choose from, so you’ll have tons of options.

7. Kawaii Kafe

If you want to take it even further, there are actually whole building mods that are anime-inspired.

Though not all of these are based from actual anime shows, they’re sure to add a touch of anime to your TS4 gameplay.

First off is the Kawaii Kafe.

Kawaii is actually a whole subculture in Japan based around the cute, lovable style of art.

Taking inspiration from Kawaii culture, this Kawaii Kafe CC is a fun and colorful coffee shop where your sims can sit back and relax.

If you’d like to give your anime fans a place to gather and enjoy common interests, the Kawaii Kafe would be a great addition to your neighborhood.

6. Otaku Hideaway

Otaku is another Japanese term that I hope we all recognize.

And the Otaku Hideaway CC would be perfect for anime geeks like us.

You can turn your entire home into an anime-inspired underwater residence with this mod.

Featuring four bedrooms and two bathrooms, you’ll even be able to raise your sim family here. This place is huge!

Of course, there are your typical anime-inspired features, including karaoke and cherry blossoms surrounding the houses exterior.

5. Diabolik Manor

Hardcore anime fans should check out this re-creation of the mansion from the popular animated series Diabolik Lovers.

This CC captures the look and feel of the Sakamaki Mansion, with its large yard and towering pillars.

The interior is easily something to boast about as well, with two floors containing anything you’d ever need – from the basic kitchens and bedrooms, to a gym, library, music room, game room, and more!

If you want your sims to live the good life anime-style, you’re going to want to check this out.

4. Totoro in the Rain Tattoo

Now a few mods for the more hardcore anime fans who want to permanently wear their love for Japanese animation:

With tattoos becoming a more common form of self-expression, your sims can have their favorite anime characters permanently inked as well.

This custom tattoo CC set allows you to place a cute image of Totoro in either your upper arm or your back.

A great way to immortalize one of our favorite Miyazaki characters.

3. Fullmetal Alchemist – Ouroboros Tattoo

If you’d prefer to give the villains some love, maybe have a peek here.

This custom tattoo set allows you to place the Ouroboros tattoos worn by the Homunculi in Fullmetal Alchemist.

Though not all variants are available, you can choose from three placements – Lust’s chest tattoo, Envy’s thigh, or as green wore it on his hand.

2. Fullmetal Alchemist – Riza Hawkeye’s Tattoo

If you’re looking to get a more major piece of work done (in the game of course), this is some CC you’ll want to install.

Another tattoo mod based on Fullmetal Alchemist, you can have your sim wear the same full back tattoo seen on Riza Hawkeye.

A beautiful back piece of the coded transmutation array from the series – the level of detail here is amazing and would look great on your sims.

1. Naruto Ninja Career

So you’ve got the anime look down, you’ve redecorated your home, and even got a fresh anime-inspired tattoo.

What more can we do?

Well thanks to modder RayBreeder7, your sims can actually live an anime life!

That’s right, you can actually live the life of a Naruto Ninja with this career mod.

This is actually a complete career mod, consisting of six stages for the main track before branching out into four possible career options.

Based on paths of Naruto characters, you can decide to become a Hokage, Akatsuki Leader, Teacher Of A Legend, or a Medical Sannin.

Create your own destiny and live the ninja life, all in your Sims 4 fantasy worlds. Can life get better?

  • Special idle animation in live mode, with the same frequency as toddler trait idles (note: idle animation you see in CAS doesn't necessarily reflect what the trait's idle will be in live mode)
  • Confident walkstyle by default
  • Randomly Confident moodlet
  • Friends with the 'Monster Under the Bed' by default.
  • Autonomy (general)- More likely to do mischief interactions

  • Interaction- Incite Domestic Defiance (non-autonomous): Target another sim and pick what all child sims listen to the speech. Lasts 30 seconds, uninterrupted. Raises child skill Social. Gives Fun and Social Need. Success results in listeners making a mess and not autonomously cleaning while the moodlet they're given is active. Failure results in negative moodlet for all parties involved.
  • Interaction- Practice Looking Competent (autonomous): Appears on any mirror. Raises child skill Social. Gives Fun Need. Lowers most types of negative moodlets. Has privacy settings (can result in embarrassment if somebody walks in while it's going).

Fretful Trait

  • Interaction- Party Fun Ditty (non-autonomous): Appears on Piano if Fretful child has 8 or higher Piano skill. Raises skill Piano. Gives Fun Need. Triggers reaction; nearby sims will change into Party outfit and start dancing if there is a stereo nearby playing music that they can dance to.
  • Interaction- [hidden] (autonomous): Can only activate if Fretful child has 5 or higher skill in both Piano and Violin. Once they do, this interaction should trigger fairly frequently, particularly if Fun Need is low. • Interaction- Hang Out Under Covers (autonomous): Appears on Bed. Raises child skill Creativity and Mental. Gives Fun and Energy Need, lowers Angry and Sad moodlets, and lowers level of social stimulation.
  • Interaction- Make Up Stories (autonomous): Raises child skill Creativity and Mental. Gives Fun and a tiny amount of Energy Need, and lowers social stimulation. Gives Inspired moodlet at the end.
  • Interaction- Leave Me Alone (autonomous): Only available when NOT on home lot and when the Angry moodlet from being overstimulated is active. Raises child skill Creativity and Mental, gives Energy Need, and lowers level of social stimulation. A way to avoid Sensitive children turning into a perpetually Angry disaster when out in public. Sleuth Trait

  • Interaction- Interrogate (autonomous): Target another sim (found under Mean socials) and use the brief (and high level) tactics of startling them to reveal their traits. Loses a little relationship in the process. Doesn't do much of anything if traits are already known.

Sweetie Trait

  • Character Values (Parenthood)- Gains some Empathy when the trait is added in live mode (e.g. during age-up).
  • Special idle animation in live mode, with the same frequency as toddler trait idles (note: idle animation you see in CAS doesn't necessarily reflect what the trait's idle will be in live mode)
  • Randomly Happy (Sweetie is more likely to hug people while this moodlet is active)
  • Interaction- Calming Hug (autonomous--but not likely to happen autonomously, unless Randomly Happy moodlet is active): Found under Friendly socials. Removes Angry moodlets on the target. Gives a Happy moodlet to the giver and receiver.
  • Interaction- Think Happy Thoughts (autonomous): Raises child skill Creativity and Mental, gives Fun Need, gives a Happy moodlet at the end, and lowers all Angry, Sad, Tense, and Uncomfortable moodlets.
  • Interaction- Infectious Happy Dance (autonomous): Requires Happy mood to be available. Raises child skill Motor and Social, gives Fun Need, and broadcasts an infectious virus of happiness that causes nearby sims who are also in a happy mood to start doing an Infectious Happy Dance as well; unfortunately, the viral effect ends there. If it went beyond that, you would have an army of infectiously happy hordes dancing forever. Infectious Happy Dance zombie army should totally be a thing though. One day. One day.

Tattletale Trait

  • Character Values (Parenthood)- Gains some Manners when the trait is added in live mode (e.g. during age-up).
  • Special idle animation in live mode, with the same frequency as toddler trait idles (note: idle animation you see in CAS doesn't necessarily reflect what the trait's idle will be in live mode)
  • Parental Need (the 'need' itself is not visible, in case you're wondering from the word 'need')- Tattletale children get Tense if they're away from parents for too long. Ways that count as being around a parent include using the Follow interaction on them, using any social interaction on them, using the interaction Tell On, or the interaction Chat With Authorities.
  • Interaction- Follow (autonomous): Gain Fun. Gain parental need if the sim that Tattletale is following is one of Parent, Aunt, Uncle, Grandparent, or Caregiver. Gain Happy moodlet if Tattletale follows 'parent' for long enough. Gain Confident moodlet if Tattletale follows 'non-parent' for long enough.
  • Interaction- Tell On... (non-autonomous): Found under Mean socials when clicking on a sim who is one of Parent, Aunt, Uncle, Grandparent, or Caregiver. Gain parental need and Happy moodlet. Sim who is told on gets scolded and gets Angry moodlet.
  • Interaction- Chat With Authorities (autonomous--only autonomous if parental need Tense moodlet is active): Raises child skills Mental and Social, gives Fun and Social Need, lowers Tense buffs and parental need.

Compatibility

This mod may or may not require Parenthood. The only part I'm sure about is anything relating to Character Values won't happen. I figured if you're the sort of person who'll download a Child Traits mod, you'll probably be the type who'd go for the Parenthood pack. So I didn't check the overlap extensively. If you don't have Parenthood, use at your own risk.

This mod overrides a few files, which are hopefully obscure enough as to never cause conflicts:
